Gap Year

 

A Gap Year with The Light Project - It's a chance to give yourself some foundations. Whether you are brimming with confidence or needing some encouragement this year is about finding out who you are, where you fit, how you fit and where you're going.

It's about delving deeper with, about and through God. The Gap Year is about getting more 'hands on' in faith; learning how to make your faith real; how to make your faith impact your life and those around you in a relevant way.

It’s about an exciting opportunity to do a 'year out' in evangelism. With the Light Project's blend of church placement, mission and evangelism projects and training sessions you get a rounded experience and the best possible opportunity for you to grow as a Christian and an evangelist.

Entry requirement – An openness and willingness to learn and be part of a team!

How has being on the Gap Year affected your life? “Being on the Gap Year has brought me so close to God. It’s been such a humbling experience and I’ve never learnt so much... I have learnt so much about God’s love for us. Through prayer, worship, Bible study, participating in lectures and working together as a team (with the same passion for Jesus), I would say being on the Light Year has been a ‘life changing experience’.”
